Counting Down
Alright we're down under 20 days until we leave. I'm glad I am not going to Bermuda to see hurricane "Bill". That would be just my luck to plan and plan and then have that happen.
We booked an inside cabin with a chance of upgrade. This is called a "guaranteed cabin." This means we still do not know where our room is, and what the number is. We might not even find out until we board. The only good part about booking an inside room in the bowel's of the ship is, I've read on cruise boards about the upgrade fairy. She flies about and touches whomever she pleases and gives them better rooms than they pay for. Some from an inside to a veranda, others just better inside rooms. Like the lottery. Wayne says stop worrying about it, we'll have a room. Since we don't plan on spending much time other than sleeping in the room, it doesn't matter. That's what steerage people said on the Titanic.
My dear husband is getting excited too, and that's saying something for someone who doesn't like to go ANYWHERE.
Later
Charlotte
